    Dear Mesedu,

    How are you? I hope you are fine .

I want to tell about my first day at school. In fact, the day was not entirely successful.  I felt terribly awkward.  The headmistress  brought me to my class and introduced me to the children .  Although the children were not very happy with the new teacher, they seemed exemplary and sat quietly.  While the headmistress  explained to me what and how, I felt at ease.  The new premises, new faces and other changes did not reassure me very much.  When the director left the office, all the children began to indulge, chatting and running around the classroom.  At that moment, I remembered the advice I was given in college that you should never try to shout down children.  And I suffered, but the noise grew louder.  In the end, I could not wait any longer and shouted at them.  Only after that did they subside.  Now I think, suddenly I did the wrong thing, and doubts gnaw at me.  

     Mesedu, what do you think of this incident?  Am I right or was it worth doing otherwise?  By the way, when does your practice begin?
